My name is Karina Calderon. I am currently a teaching credential student at California State University San Marcos. My aim is to become a middle school or high school English teacher.

-I graduated from CSUSM with an B.A. in Literature and Writing Studies in the Spring of 2011. My minor was Women's Studies.
-My favorite young adult book is Sherman Alexie's The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.
-I am fluent in English and Spanish.
-I like to watch late-night infomercials on oldies music collections.
-My favorite past time is to read about fairy tales and folklore (especially urban legends). Mexico has some particularly fascinating urban legends!
